Homesteaders Retreats

Our Homesteaders Retreats are designed for those seeking practical skills, meaningful community, and time grounded in faith and shared purpose. Hosted on a working ranch, these retreats are not about performance, networking, or curated experiences — they’re about learning, living, and growing together in a real-world setting.

Each retreat is intentionally small and built around hands-on homesteading instruction, shared meals, and the daily rhythms of ranch life. We offer two lengths of stay — a short weekend retreat and a longer, more immersive week-long retreat — to make participation possible for people with different schedules and life commitments.

The idea for offering multiple formats grew from a simple observation: real connection tends to happen when people gather around shared work and a common purpose, not forced interaction. Just as climbing gyms have become places where people meet naturally through teamwork and shared effort, these retreats are designed as a land-based version of that same principle — learning side by side, working with your hands, and allowing community to form naturally over time.

While every retreat shares the same foundation, different formats allow us to serve people in different seasons of life, without changing the heart of the experience.

The Common Foundation

All Homesteaders Retreats are centered on:
  • Practical homesteading and livestock skills

  • Shared meals and daily rhythms

  • Hands-on learning in a working ranch environment

  • A Christian faith-based atmosphere

  • Small group sizes to foster genuine connection

This is not agritourism or a weekend getaway. It’s an immersive experience designed to be useful, grounding, and relational.

Whether you’re coming alone, with family, or as part of a focused group, the goal is the same: to leave with practical skills, meaningful relationships, and a deeper sense of grounding.
