Hunting has history at Grass Creek Ranch

“Granny” Eunice Willaims (Brown) (b. 1892, d. 1974) with a fresh kill in front of her cabin circa 1950

We are located in between some of the best Elk hunting areas in Wyoming. The northern most tip of Elk area 64, pictured below, is right out our back door. We offer cabin stays with optional meals during the hunting season. Use the Book Now tab for rates (all-inclusive stays and our regular horse rides are not available after October, so you'll have the place to yourself).

We offer RV spot parking (with or without hookups), with plenty of space, allowing you to unload your side-by-side for a quick run into the managed hunting areas surrounding our Ranch.

Although we do not offer hunting rights on our land, the adjacent properties have an abundance of animals.

Meals during hunting season

During the hunting season (generally from October to December, each year) we offer dinners each night (Tues - Sat) with a unique, handmade menu beginning at 6 PM daily.

Stop in, grab a beer and a hot meal after a long day scouting for your best spot before the season opens or hunting for that "big Kill".

  • Hot dinner, warm conversation and a fresh menu made daily (sourced right from the Ranch)
  • Fresh fruit (Bananas, Oranges, Apples) and snacks for the next day's outing
  • Yogurt with oatmeal to go for breakfast
  • Pastries
  • Coffee and tea
Our famous Jerky, Landjagers and various snacks for the field will also be available daily.
We will have our ice maker running all day, in the event you need to chill down your kill for the trip to the processor. Our Beer selection will be plentiful for the winter too...

Drop-in on your way out to Grass Creek - we'd love to see you.
